On April 2nd we went to Pike Place Market for our first time ever. Our daughters were having such a blast, we went into the last store and there was a lady with a dog that was roaming with the leash on the ground. It came up to us, and I asked for permission before touching the dog or allowing my children to touch the dog. She assured us it was fine, and told us the dog played with kids constantly. Turned around and stopped watching her dog. My sweet 2.5 year old little girl was being so gentle and was watched the whole entire time when the dog suddenly just attacked my little girl in the face. The dog got her right below the eye, and along the jaw line. The woman took off with her dog while I was calling 911 to get assistance for my child. Police have been searching for her and we have a post on multiple social media sites trying to find this woman. She thankfully didn’t need stitches, but she does have a few medical appointments to ensure of healing and no infection an hour away. We also live over an hour away from where the attack was and where we need to meet with police, and court hearings. Due to everything already her dad has missed work, I had to close my bakery for days, and we are now struggling trying to figure out funds for traveling to all of this as well as trying to hire a lawyer to find justice for my daughter. I also am wanting to go and put flyers up of this woman in the Seattle area. I hate asking for help, I’m truly embarrassed but I will put aside how I feel to ensure I can do what I need to for Harlow. Our family truly appreciates all the support we have gotten, and we have no doubt with the help of our community we will find this woman. I will keep updating with Harlows condition and updates on the case as I’m permitted. Thank you!
