Dear Friends and Supporters,
I am excited to share my journey as a candidate for the Miss Kansas’ Teen Peoples Choice Award! My community service initiative (CSI), Veterans Voice, is something that I am deeply passionate about. Inspired by the service of my great grandfathers in World War II, I am committed to improving the lives of our nations veterans.
I have so much respect for our veterans. Their sacrifice for our country inspires me to give back to my community and its people as I attempt to live up to their legacy. Thank you veterans!
In my CSI essay, I discuss the courage and selflessness of our veterans, and the challenges they face when they return home. I am dedicated to working with the Veterans Community Project to address veteran homelessness and support their reintegration into society. Through community events, building tiny homes, and using social media to raise awareness, I am determined to make a difference.
Now, I need your help to support my mission.
